Two ways to build
Product Debuts offers developers two integration paths. The REST API lives at /api/v1 with full OpenAPI 3.1 documentation at /api/v1/openapi.json. You can also connect an AI assistant—Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client—to our remote server at /mcp.
What your assistant can do
AI clients connected over MCP can search launches and read full listing details. With your authorisation, they can draft new listings and make updates to ones you own. This works alongside your own API usage.
Getting started
Sign in with OAuth (your assistant opens a page on this site) or generate a personal API key from /account/developers. Keys display only once; we store a hash only. Find full guidance at /developers.
How costs and rules work
Rate limits and daily quotas apply to all requests. When you trigger a paid action, the API returns a checkout link to complete payment here on Product Debuts. Voting is not available through either interface.
Questions people ask
- Can my assistant manage my listings?
- Yes. After you approve access, an MCP-connected assistant can draft listings and edit ones you own. Payments still happen on this site.
- How do I get an API key?
- Go to /account/developers to create one. It shows once only, so store it securely. You can also sign in via OAuth instead.
- Where do I find API documentation?
- Visit /api/v1/openapi.json for the full specification, or /developers for integration guides.
