What is OS3?
OS3 is an agentic operating system where you describe what you want to understand, make or finish, and it brings together supported AI models, skills and connected computers to work on it. Memory and relevant context help you build on what you have already started.
Do I need a perfect prompt?
No. You can start with what you are trying to understand, make, decide or finish. An unfinished thought is enough to start a conversation, and you can add detail or change direction as you go.
How do I talk to OS3?
You can talk to OS3 in a browser, through the OS3 desktop app for macOS and Windows, in Messages by iMessage, RCS or SMS, through a paired Telegram bot, or by speaking to r1. Each keeps its own conversation thread while drawing on the same memory and relevant context.
Why BYOK (bring your own key)?
BYOK means bring your own key: you connect an API key from a supported provider, so you choose the models available to OS3 without rebuilding your memory, skills and connected-computer setup. Changing providers means replacing the connected key.
Which providers can I use?
You can use Anthropic and OpenAI directly, Google Gemini, OpenRouter, Ollama and Z.ai as aggregators, a model served from one of your own connected computers, or your own endpoint. OS3 lists models it already knows for Anthropic and OpenAI; for aggregators it reads the list from your account after the key is saved.
