How does the billboard ranking work?
The billboard is a paid leaderboard ranked by money contributed. It sits separately from votes and community rankings.

Your listing on the paid board
The billboard lives at /leaderboards/billboard. It is a leaderboard that ranks listings by the money their owners have put in. The page is marked as a paid ranking, so everyone knows what they are seeing.
Setting your contribution
You decide the amount in US dollars. The minimum is $5. If you add more money later, it stacks on top: your total grows, and your position on the board moves with it. You stay listed as long as you have contributed.
How to add your listing
To add it from your account, your listing must be live. Sign in, visit /account/listings, find the listing and select "Upgrades and extras". Enter your amount under Billboard. You can also set this up when you submit a new listing, at the plan step.
Why it does not touch votes
Paying for the billboard does not change votes, Launch of the Week, or any other ranking. Community votes, the billboard, verification status and Domain Rating are four separate systems. Each one is labelled so you know which is which. Promo codes do not reduce what you contribute to the billboard.
Your link on the board
Every name on /leaderboards/billboard is a followed link (no nofollow) to the company's own website. Once you have contributed, the link stays for life, however the ranking changes. It goes only if the listing is taken down for breaking the rules, or if the contribution is refunded.

- Can I increase my billboard contribution later?
- Yes. Sign in, go to /account/listings, choose "Upgrades and extras" and add more money. It stacks on your total and updates your board position.
- Does the billboard affect my vote count?
- No. The billboard and community votes are separate rankings. Paying one does not change the other.
- Who sees the billboard?
- The billboard is a public leaderboard at /leaderboards/billboard. It is labelled as paid ranking so visitors know how it is ordered.
- Is my website linked from the billboard?
- Yes. A followed link to your website, with your company name, stays on the full board for life; it is removed only for a take-down for breaking the rules, or a refund.
